"One of America's top 25 eating inns"... Conde Nast Traveler

Special Events
Our spacious grounds, wrap-around porch, rural location and dining facilities make La Duchesse Anne an ideal spot to help make your special occasion a bit more special. We can accommodate over a hundred persons and our prices are reasonable.

Location
La Duchesse Anne is located in the central Catskills - beautiful country with trout streams and mountains, forests and picturesque hamlets. Any season is right whether it be the green leaves of summer, the white snow of winter, the multicolored spectacle of autumn or the admittedly brown, muddy hope of spring.

What's To Do
Fishing
La Duchesse Anne is no more than a few hundred yards from the Esopus Creek, on of the more renowned trout streams in the East and only a few miles from the Askokan Reservoir.

Hiking
Almost all the mountains around us are, according to the New York State constitution, "forever wild" and feature numerous marked hiking trails.

Skiing
There are several ski areas, most within twenty-five minutes of us, including Hunter Mountain, Bellayre and Windham. All offer top-notch trails.

Antiquing
The villages around us including Saugerties, Woodstock and Phoenicia have a number of antique centers and, while prices are not what they used to be, they usually offer pretty good buys.

Woodstock
Love it or hate it, Woodstock has what you would expect from an artist colony, art galleries, bookstores and musicians. The Woodstock Festival tradition prevails.

Conde Nast Traveler calls us "a culinary gem rich with provincial Frenchness."
